Principle
Strictly necessary functionality is provided without advertising tracking. Google Analytics 4 loads on the public domains only after explicit approval. Before explicit consent, no Google Analytics identifier or analytics data is sent to Google.
Consent and settings
On the first visit to the public website, a consent banner may offer optional audience measurement. “Continue without analytics” and “Accept analytics” store the selected decision in the first-party cookie hc_consent_analytics for 180 days. The persistent “Cookie settings” button allows the decision to be reopened and changed at any time with future effect.
Analytics and statistics cookies
After consent, Google Analytics 4 may set the cookies _ga and _ga_* to analyse website usage and sessions statistically. The website sends no proprietary User ID and disables advertising storage, advertising user data, Google Signals, and ad personalisation. On withdrawal, analytics is disabled; existing Google Analytics cookies are deleted where technically possible through the website and are not set again without renewed consent.
Cookie-free aggregate measurement
Internal performance measurement records daily aggregate counters only and sets no cookie. It cannot identify individual or returning visitors and creates no profiles. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
Language preference
When a visitor actively switches between German and English, WPML may set a first-party cookie such as wp-wpml_current_language. It stores only the selected language and is not used for profiling.
WordPress, forms, and security
WordPress sets login, security, and preference cookies only for authorised editors and administrators. Contact Form 7 and AegisPress require no marketing cookies in the public baseline. Security checks may occur server-side and are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Cloudflare Turnstile loads on pages with public forms as a strictly necessary security function. Turnstile processes the client-side signals described in the Privacy Policy. According to Cloudflare, the signals and any cookies used for this purpose are strictly necessary to detect and block automated access; they are not used for analytics or marketing on our website. Because Turnstile protects the forms against abuse, it cannot be disabled through the optional analytics settings. Details and links to the provider information are available in the Privacy Policy.
Provider and transfers
The provider of Google Analytics is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing by Google LLC in the United States cannot be ruled out.
